It's hard to believe how quickly time flies by. This time last year I was photographing my friend Michelle and the love of her life, and now her first wedding anniversary is around the corner! Michelle is a rare gem. She's brilliant, extremely hard working, a fabulous hostess and cook, and hands down one of the most generous people I know. Case in point, after their engagement session she packed a picnic meal for us to enjoy! How sweet is that? After walking alongside Michelle for years, it warms my heart to see her with her perfect match. Howard is a classy guy, and I only wish my camera could capture his charming British accent ;) Look for more photos featuring these two soon!
Michelle's life and work has allowed her to travel the world, so she wanted to incorporate international elements into their session. I loved her purple sari from India!
Howard is from across the pond, but he's picking up on our Texas ways ;)
August is always a toasty time of year, but we were fortunate to get a cool day. Scheduling the session for sunset also allowed for some gorgeous lake views at dusk.
