Train's Marry Me ushered in the ceremony & Al Green's soulful serenade of Let's Stay Together closed out the night. Between these two songs, Kayla & Chuka declared their vows and began their married life together. They brought the fierceness.
They brought the glam.
They brought the fun.
And I enjoyed covering every single last minute of it!

The new Mr. & Mrs. snuck away during the reception to do a few photos and exchange wedding day gifts. I would say that the gifts were a hit wouldn't you?
The library at the Dallas Scottish Rite made the perfection location for the bride and groom portraits. We joked around that the red chair looked like a "boss" chair. Boss chair or not, these two were killing it.
DJ dTrain kept the floor packed all night long with a diverse mix from club tunes to oldies.
Say it with Sugar sculpted two fabulous cakes.
Besides the dance floor, The Blue Booth's photo booth was the place to be.
Gils Elegant Catering served up yummy cookies and milk in adorable mini mason jars as a midnight snack.
